A kid or a teenager has the same chances of getting hearing loss disorder as that of a grown man. Ordinarily people start to notice more and more of their hearing loss after they start to hear less and less. Some people have hearing disorders that do not go away after a while but are permanent.

The person with functional hearing loss will have no problems hearing so to speak, but will not respond to sound. What is hard about this, is first being able to correctly diagnosing it so as not to use other treatments on the person.

If a person has both conductive and sensorineural loss in one ear, then the person is said to have mixed hearing loss. With mixed hearing loss, the easiest to treat is still conductive hearing impairment. There is still not much that can be done with the sensorineural problem.

This is not a joking matter and it can change your life if you are not too careful about it. There isn’t any reason why a person should take this lightly since there isn’t a cure yet in sight. As with other parts of the body, the best advice is to go see your doctor regularly for examinations.
